Midland Board of Realtors recently presented its top honor, Realtor of the Year, to Christina Reimer of RE/MAX of Midland. Reimer was recognized for her dedication to the MBOR and the community, particularly her work with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
In another exciting development, SVRC Industries, Inc and Carter Kits have announced a partnership to empower communities and individuals with disabilities. SVRC Industries’ Industrial Operations Program, which employs people with disabilities, will be collaborating with Carter Kits, a provider of sensory bags designed to comfort and focus individuals, especially those on the autism spectrum. This partnership aims to enhance the production and distribution of sensory bags, expanding their reach and impact.
Carter Kits Sensory Bags, originally designed for first responders, have now expanded to serve various professions and are available internationally. With over 15,000 kits distributed across the United States, the partnership with SVRC’s Industrial Operations will further support their mission of providing comfort and support to those facing challenging situations.
Additionally, Midland resident Mark Dickerson III, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a degree in Accounting, has been hired by Deloitte in Midland as an audit and assurance associate before his graduation. The university, located in Greenville, South Carolina, is known for its Christian liberal arts education.
