United Talent Agency (UTA) is shaking up its news and broadcasting department with new leadership appointments. In a memo sent to staff by UTA vice-chairman Jay Sures and COO Andrew Thau, it was announced that Ryan Hayden and Marc Paskin will now serve as co-heads of the department.
Peter Goldberg, who previously led the department, will remain with the company as a partner and senior agent. Goldberg played a key role in the growth of UTA News and will continue to contribute to the agency’s success.
Hayden, who has been with UTA for 20 years, has a strong reputation for representing top names in news and sports media. Paskin, who joined UTA in 2019, brings valuable experience from his time at ABC News.
Additionally, Hayden will also continue to oversee UTA Sports alongside Jerry Silbowitz, reporting to Thau. The sports media department represents a roster of well-known personalities and has expertise in media rights and content.
Sures and Thau expressed their excitement for the future of the news and sports departments under the new leadership. They thanked Goldberg for his contributions to UTA News and expressed confidence in the abilities of Hayden, Paskin, and Silbowitz to lead the agency to further success.
The changes in leadership at UTA’s news and broadcasting department mark a new chapter for the agency as they continue to represent some of the most trusted journalists and media personalities in the industry.
