The Trump hush money trial has taken a new turn with false claims being made about Stormy Daniels, as former President Donald Trump goes on the offensive against Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
Trump, in a fiery post on his Truth Social website, labeled Kennedy as a “Democrat ‘Plant,’ a Radical Left Liberal,” warning that a vote for him would be a wasted protest vote that could swing against the Democrats if Republicans knew the true story about him.
Kennedy, who has been critical of both Biden and Trump, challenged Trump to a debate on social media, accusing him of descending into vitriol and making wild and inaccurate claims.
In response, Kennedy criticized Trump for his policies on military aid to Ukraine, support of Big Pharma, deficit spending, and threats to the U.S. Constitution during his administration.
Recent polls have shown that Biden benefits when other candidates, including Kennedy, are included on the ballot. While Trump holds a slight edge over Biden in a head-to-head matchup, Biden leads in a five-way ballot test.
Biden and his allies are keeping a close eye on Kennedy, with some members of the Kennedy family endorsing Biden and dismissing their relative as nothing more than a spoiler.
