Presidential candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr has made a shocking revelation about his health, offering to eat more parasitic worms after it was discovered that a worm had eaten part of his brain and died inside his head a decade ago. The independent candidate boldly claimed that he could still beat his Democrat and Republican rivals, President Joe Biden and former president Donald Trump, in a debate even after consuming five more brain worms.
In a 2012 deposition during his divorce proceedings, Mr Kennedy expressed concerns about cognitive problems and memory loss, initially fearing he had a brain tumor like his late uncle, former Senator Ted Kennedy. However, a second doctor’s opinion revealed that the dark spot on his brain scans was actually a dead parasite.
Despite the health scare, RFK Jr, known for his anti-vaccine activism, assured the public that he had recovered from the memory loss and fogginess he experienced in 2010 and that the parasite did not require treatment. He also disclosed suffering from mercury poisoning due to excessive consumption of tuna fish sandwiches.
While Mr Trump dismissed the idea of debating RFK Jr, the Biden team has filed complaints about his campaign and hired staff to combat misinformation spread by the third-party candidate. The Kennedy family has distanced themselves from Mr Kennedy, labeling him a “crackpot,” and publicly endorsing Mr Biden.
As the first presidential debate approaches, the question remains whether Mr Kennedy can meet the support threshold and ballot presence required to participate. With polls indicating he poses a greater threat to Mr Trump’s 2024 campaign, all eyes will be on the upcoming debate on 16 September.
