Despite a stellar performance from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who recorded 31 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocks, the Thunder couldn’t overcome the Mavericks’ strong defense. The game was not without its share of injuries, as Mavericks’ center Daniel Gafford and Thunder’s Jalen Williams both suffered setbacks during the intense matchup. Williams, on the other hand, dealt with a left ankle injury but managed to return in the fourth quarter and finish with 16 points and eight assists.
