After 37 years of operation, Gordyville USA, a beloved event center in Gifford, has been sold to a group of out-of-state investors. The property, which includes a 144,000-square-foot main building, was owned and operated by the Hannagan family, known for their dedication to equine and auction events.
The sale marks a bittersweet moment for the Hannagan family, as they say goodbye to a place where they poured their blood, sweat, and tears for nearly four decades. Despite the emotional attachment, they are excited about the new chapter ahead.
The new owners, whose names have not been disclosed, have pledged to maintain and elevate Gordyville USA as a premier event center. They plan to work closely with the Hannagan family to ensure a smooth transition for all events scheduled in 2024.
Lisa Banga-Graham, a longtime horse enthusiast and the new general manager of Gordyville, is looking forward to retaining all current events on the calendar and potentially adding new outdoor attractions, such as tractor pulls.
Gifford Village President Adam Pannbacker and Fire Chief Rich McFadden both expressed their appreciation for Gordyville’s impact on the community, serving as an economic driver and a vital gathering place for various events.
As Gordyville enters this new era under new ownership, the legacy of the Hannagan family will continue to live on through the memories, friendships, and dreams realized at the event center over the years.
